Taraxacum officinale
This weed has not yet managed to attack the lawn of many frustrated gardeners. But it happens every year. The green leaves are rosette-shaped around the flower and line-shaped with large spines on the side. The stem is hollow and has white milk juice in the stem walls. At the top of the stem is a yellow flower with many thin flower petals. The flower buds can be fried and used in omelettes. In spring, it is nice to use the fresh leaves for a tasty salad, or they can be cooked like spinach or used in soups and stews. The roots can be washed, boiled and eaten like a carrot.
Forest road.
