Description:

Pseudochazara alpina is a species of butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is confined to the Caucasus.

Habitat:

Arid steppe, short grassland, boulders and bare soil. Cattle grazed. This species was observed on a thistle patch by a stream. 1,100 - 1,600 m

The place I was was closer to Europe than Asia, just on the Georgia border, so I am using the European butterfly mission Martin provided. Next year I'll go to the Asia side. Thanks..
