Description:

Photo take at -30 ft on a coral reef, this is a common fish on this area territorial usually stay in a cave or hangover reefs , Spot fin Porcupinefish are about 1m long It is coloured tan with dark spots above and pale below, and has many long, moveable spines.

Habitat:

Seaward reefs, sheltering under ledges or in caves during the day. More active during night, found from Florida all the Caribbean sea, the Gulf of México , to Brazil.
