Zelus renardii
Zelus renardii is an assassin bug. First instar larvae have been observed to collect a sticky substance from their eggs and rub it on their legs, which improves predation success on flies. Their range is the sw US.
Generalist predator (despite its common name suggesting host specificity) This one is making my Butterfly Weed (Milk Weed) it's habitat.

Okay, so this is what I have ID'ed this bug as. Are there any disputes on this? I would love to know if I have correctly ID'ed it or if I need go back to the board. Thanks every one! ")
Hey Jolly, I'm seeing a lot of variations and nothing being mentioned about the variations. The best fit that I come up with is Assassin Bug, Zelus luridus http://bugguide.net/node/view/80063 What do you think?
I'm sorry Jolly. I'm not having much luck with this but I will keep trying. Thank you for the starting point as you have gotten me in the right direction.
Thank you, Maria. ")

Cool! And thanks again. I'll have to get on it tomorrow night though. I'm beat for now.
