Spotted this guy munching on some grass out in Fort Tryon Park at the northern tip of Manhattan. My friend thinks it is a Beaver, but the tail and lack of water around make me think otherwise. Groundhog?

Yes, its a groundhog! Beavers have wide flat tails.
