All 3 Jaeger species show up every year in Colorado, sometimes in spring, but mostly in September and October. That particular day there was an Arctic Tern and Sabine's Gull at the same location, plus a huge influx of Scoters in the entire state, all 3 species. Colorado gets seabirds during migration...we even have some crazy records like Ancient Murrelet. I got to see a Yellow-billed Loon at this same spot in December as well.

For a seabird that is odd to be in the midwest. Saw this wasn't the first time.
