Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae. A common Typical Geometer. Flimsy broad-winged. Peppery FW is variable from gray to straw-colored. Faint AM line is rounded (this one is more pronounced than most),Straight tan line at PM line. Wings marked with tiny black spots. Hosts: Aster, dandelion, goldenrod.

Habitat:

Meadow.

Notes:

Seen flying during the day.
