Common Crayfish

Cambarus bartonii

Description:

The Common Crayfish is native to North America and its colouration is usually plain dark brown, although mottling is occasionally seen, as is a saddle-shaped marking.

Habitat:

This crayfish lives in fast–flowing, cool, rocky streams as well as shallow lakes.

Notes:

**I took this crayfish out of water to take the photo. They live in water.**
