6 ft. tall 1 in. flowers Somewhat orchid like, golden-orange splotched with reddish brown; extend backward into a spurred sac; damg;e frp, sicci;emt. translucent stems. Leaves thin, ovate, pale underneath. Fruit swollen capsules that burst at touch when ripe. Blooms- July- September
