Common Striped Hawkmoth

Marumba crista crista Butler, 1875

Description:

Relatively large moth. Wing length: 55 mm.

Habitat:

Pines, cherry, bamboo and other mixed forest. Cool to warm place. Altitude: 1,700 m.

Notes:

Pl observe the fore limbs, they are quite bushy unlike other Hawkmoths. This one had visited my CFL light kept swtiched for them at night.
