Myiagra rubecula
Both males and females have a small sub-erectile crest. Males have a leaden blue-black above and on the throat. The other underparts are white. Females have a leaden grey head and nape. The back, wings and tail are brown. The throat and upper breast are orange-rufous with the rest of the underparts being white.
Inhabits dry forests and woodlands.
Feeding: Eat small dragonflies, termites, cicadas, frog hoppers, beetles, weevils, flies, native bees and wasps. Breeding/Nesting: Breeds late September to January. Builds a neat cup nest of fine bark strips bound with spiderwebs.
