Assassin Bug

Description:

Yellowish in color. Has a long proboscis with which it was sucking out the innards of the beetle it held. Tiny black eyes on either side of the small head. Very long, black antennae. The shape of the head reminded me of an ant eater.

Habitat:

Austin, TX. It is hot, arid, and windy in Austin.
