araucaria araucana
Beautiful evergreen araucarias decorate the city of Bariloche providing a lovely winter scenery to this delightful andean region. Its pyramidal shape suggests that in this case it is a juvenile tree as they tend to adopt an umbrella like shape as they age. According to wikipedia, it is a dioecius tree with male and female cones generally on different trees; in the pictures, the orange female cones can be easily seen.
These trees can be seen in the andean region shared by Chile and Argentina.
It is considered a "vulnerable" tree regarding its conservation status.
