Indigo Bunting

Passerina cyanea

Description:

This is a very blue bird with black on it's wings, an apparent white and black beak, and a small crest. Is this an Indigo Bunting? Seems TOO blue.

Habitat:

Near water

Notes:

Saw this same species in a couple of places on Lake Cumberland near Jamestown Kentucky, each time close to the water's edge, apparently feeding on plants or insects in the drift wood and plants near the water. It is about the size of a Robin.
