Approx. 5cm long. Found along the Yarra River
Riparian Forest.
That looks pretty safe.
Very similar indeed, tentatively Myopsalta sp. for then
They're incredibly tough to ID. I think sound is the better hope. I suggested the Dark Smoky Buzzer because it is only in that small area. The Smoky Buzzer (f) has good similarity and might be in the area also. http://dr-pop.net/waterhousei-299.htm
Can't find a pic. of the Dark Smoky Buzzer, could be genus Pauropsalta or Cicadetta (syn. Myopsalta).
