Round-tailed Ground Squirrel

Xerospermophilus tereticaudus

Habitat:

Open field

Notes:

These awesome little ground squirrels are my 700th spotting! I took these with my phone; the little guys wanted me to feed them! I was walking along a path at my college and around 20 of them converged upon me! My response? Photography of course. Thank you Project Noah Community for your awesome contributions and help on identification!
