Giant Walking Stick

Megaphasma denticrus

Description:

This walking stick was crawling around by our back door today. It is about 3 1/2" long. It had blue-green forelimbs and joints with the bright red stripe on top and bottom. On the inside of each knee is a claw-like projection. This is a male.
