Description:

Sycamores are one of the largest trees in the eastern United States. They are distinguished by their large fan-shaped leaves, a brown ball fruit made of needlelike seeds and a trunk characterized by large patches of thin peeling bark.

Habitat:

Found in floodplains and bottom land woods of large rivers. Planted as a yard tree

The Sycamore is considered a symbol of strength, divinity, and eternity.
