Lithobates sphenocephalus
Rana is now reserved for the old world species. Lithobates is the correct genus now. And there are other species of Leopard Frog, this one is the Southern Leopard Frog, Lithobates sphenocephalus.

It has spotting on the back, a pointed nose and a white dot in the center of the eardrum...this is a Southern Leopard Frog.
