Bluegills can grow up to 12 inches (30 cm) long and about 4+1∕2 pounds (2.0 kg)

Habitat:

The bluegill occurs naturally in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains. This fish was spotted in the Powdermill Nature Reserve, Pennsylvania

Notes:

Bluegills have the ability to travel and change directions at high speeds and are capable of swimming backwards.
