Found this interesting bug on hibiscus leaf in my garden. Kingdom Animalia (Animals) Phylum Arthropoda (Arthropods) Class Insecta (Insects) Order Hemiptera (True Bugs, Cicadas, Hoppers, Aphids and Allies) Suborder Heteroptera (True Bugs) Superfamily Coreoidea Family Coreidae (Leaf-footed Bugs)


A number of different species under the name, its a Leaf-footed Bug or also Squash Bug (as it is a pest of squash plants and cucurbits) -Reference mentioned in the respective place.
