native to native to North Africa, Tropical Africa, Western Asia, South Asia, and Indochina. Found on tropical Caribbean beach.
Took me a while of searching on the web to finally find the ID for this plant. (thanks to a comment on a Fliker photo) It seems this north African desert milkweed, is found in many tropical Caribbean island beaches.
