I agree with mark; Silky Hakea (Hakea sericea) http://www.anbg.gov.au/gnp/gnp3/hakea-se...Hakeas are the forgotten cousins of grevilleas.
Could be Hakea sericea? Does the fruit have 2 little horns/spikes? In the same family as Grevillea, family: Proteaceae
