Wahlberg's Eagle

Aquila wahlbergi

Habitat:

Miombo woodland

Notes:

This beautiful eagle decided that this tree was his (her?) favorite spot for a few weeks, and could be seen there almost every day. It would even get into fights with storks and other birds who dared to take its spot. We still see it regularly, but the tree seems to have lost its attraction.

Hi dominiquenoome, this was a lovely spotting. I took some liberty and included it in two African wildlife missions. Hope you will not mind my intervention. Cheers
