Description:

The name came from that it looks like a cross between a Wren and a Bushtit but not relative to either. I think it looks like a large Bushtit. Long legs for a small bird, with also a long tail and short bill. Color almost like a California Tohee with gray-brown on top and reddish brown underneath. The eyes are a pale color with faint line over the eye. Their call can be hear over a distance. They are shy birds but I have seen them come out when curious.

Habitat:

Found only in the western states and north-western Mexico in chaparrals and scrubs
