They don't guard their eggs, @Lauren.
There's thousands of eggs, many will not hatch/survives as they get feed on by other animals including other nudibranch.

Actually, the eggs of another specie of Nudibranch called Spanish Dancer (Hexabranchus sanguineus) is red in color and they can looks like 'roses' :)
