Trilobite cockroach (♀)

Laxta granicollis

Description:

Looking like a trilobite this cockroach was about 25mm long. Shiny black with segments and tiny tubercules. Fine antennae to about half body length. No wings means female.

Habitat:

Under timber and leaves in outer suburban back yard. Found near midday.

Notes:
