I was thinking desert spiny lizard?

It's definitely Sceloporus but I can't take the ID any further than that.

The sign said spiny lizard, but I wanted to know what type of spiny lizard. The mix-species exhibit houses native southern species, so yes they are from so cal.

Hi Jonah, you said you took this at a zoo. Was there no sign saying the various species in the exhibit? Also, you added this to the Southern California Wildlife and Herps of Southern California missions. Do you know this species is from So Cal?
