Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle

Harmonia axyridis

Black mark on the pronotum is shaped like an M or a W depending on which way the bug is facing. This species varies widely in color and spot count, and has many different common names.

The white stuff on the back of the one in the first photo is laboulbeniales fungus. Turns out the second one I saw today was the same species, but had faded spots, and was lighter in color. Same pronotum marking, though.

Thanks for the ID and info! Added a photo of the other one I saw in the same area.
