Rhombic night adder

Causus rhombeatus

Description:

Brown snake with black upper markings

Habitat:

Grassy plains, bushes

Notes:

Hatchling, fell of the pavement from grass plain unto the road, and was probably trying to find its way back up. Fearing its mama wasn't so distant, this was as close as I got :)
