Description:

Beautiful reddish brown cap with white stipe and black scabers.

Habitat:

Conifer forest including Douglas fir and Sub-alpine fir. Some pine - mostly dying from the pine beetle infestation. A few birch which are dying at the top.

Notes:

Found beside the trail at Lightning Lakes in Manning Park, BC.
