Description:

Large bird (~125cm) with long legs, neck and beaks. The plumage is white with black on the wings. Legs and beak are red.

Habitat:

Spotted in urban area, small town enclosed in vineyards. The white stork needs the vicinity of wetlands to feed and breed. That species breed in Europe and West Asia, while spending winter in sub-Saharan Africa. The nest is large and built in tall trees or on buildings. Dedicated nesting platforms and posts have been erected in Europe as conservation measure.
