Fly Fungus

Entomophthora muscae

Description:

White fungus

Habitat:

Dead fly in a field

Notes:

To flies, the zombie apocalypse is a real thing that is happening right now. It all started when the fly, buzzing around, accidentally picked up a fungal spore. The fungus grew inside the still living fly. The fungus took over the fly's brain. The fly was forced by the fungus, to stick itself a blade of grass. A few minutes later the fly's wings shot up. The fly died. The fungus came out of the fly to make spores.
