Tropidurus sp.
This guy climbed on the high end of a concrete wall, to warm up with the first rays of sunshine after weeks of rain. His favorite hobby is to capture insects like butterflies, beetles, wasps, cockroaches. Hiding behind anything to stalk their prey, and jump over them when they are distracted resting or feeding on plants or on the ground. His archenemy is the bird Guira guira.
When threatened, they seek to hide in any crevice or hole. When captured, remain motionless as if dead. For occur the appearance of these species, the environment must have the following characteristics: usually appear in areas with little movement of people. With wood, concrete or rocks to camuflem, climb and take sun. Are always near a crack or something that attracts insects and other arthropods, like lamps and plantas. Are also very confused with lizards (geckos), although much larger than the homemade gecko.
