Description:

Max length is 30 centimeters. 12 dorsal spines, 9 dorsal soft rays, 3 anal spines, and 5 anal soft rays.

Habitat:

Inhabits seagrass beds, grassy bays and channels. Moves when disturbed.

Notes:

Wounds inflicted are extremely painful but not fatal
