Dalmatian Pelican

Description:

I have spotted these pelicans during february in Bostanlı Pier, İzmir. They nest in İzmir Bird Paradise in winter and spring time. They usually come to Bostanlı Pier to grab some free fish from the fishermen. They also follow the fishermen in the bay. We started seeing pelicans in İzmir Bay in the last five to six years, since the municipality started cleaning the bay.
