Description:

Family: Crambidae, Subfamily: Pyraustinae. TL 11 mm. Black wings marked with 8 large white spots.Black abdomen with white stripes. Thorax is yellow. Hosts: Goldenrod. Often confused with 8-spotted Forester Moth.

Habitat:

Near woodlands, attracted near light.
