Baby Sea Turtles. The one in the foreground in the one picture is a loggerhead. Their was one leatherback and about 30 loggerhead sea turtles. Endangered Species.

Went with Satlwater Studies and Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program in Dania Beach, Florida. These hatchlings were the ones that they dug out of the nests after the rest had already left 3 days earlier. These were dug out that morning. The reason the release is a bit blurry is because we couldn't use any flash on our cameras and they shined a red flashlight on them because sea turtles can't see red and they didn't want to confuse the turtles on whick direction to head.

Thanks EnvUnlimited! I now have that mission for all further baby animals that I spot. I did add this one to that mission: Animal Young of Florida.
Amazing i love sea turtles i hope to see some in my future.
