A red vented bulbul

Habitat:

Open countryland, farmland, forests and even dry areas. Very common passerine bird of Pakistan, commonest of the bulbul family to the extent that it is a frequent subject in local fables and poetry

Notes:

Readily distinguished by the dark crest on head, peculiar call and prominent red vent area as seen in the photo
