Northern Red-bellied Cooter

Pseudemys rubriventris

Habitat:

Along drainage canal.

Notes:

I believe the one at the rear is Eastern Painted Turtle. I am more interested in the front turtle, the one with the dark head. Can anyone supply an ID?

I'm inclined to go with an older red-bellied cooter for the closer one, you can see red on the plastron by the back leg, and the profile and size fit well for that species. And correct that the back one is a painted turtle
