Known as a military macaw in English, these birds are on display in Xcaret Park, Quintana Roo, Mexico. They are a popular wildlife attraction, plus a spectacular addition to the grand 3-hour show held there daily. And yes, I cheated again; the scientific name, common name, even English name were on a nearby plaque!
