It actual ID is Asian Owlet Moth... as it is find in most of Asian countries.

Dandoucette, books here are incredibly expensive & reference books are very hard to find because importers don't see the market for them.

I'm not sure, I just google it and see if I find any matches. Books can still be a huge help. That's too bad you can't find anything comprehensive, I would have thought KL would have some good books.

How do I check? I've been buying butterfly books but nowhere sells anything comprehensive. I'm hoping Project Noah can replace my book-buying.....

Nice spot and it's in immaculate condition. I think this is some type of Erebus moth but I'm not sure of the species.
