Actinote pellenea

Description:

This is the larvae stage of the Lepidoptera Actinote pellenea; a butterfly belonging to the family Nymphalidae. The pattern in the body, including three segments of different colour (White) are used to identify it.

Habitat:

This bug was pictured in San Isidro, in the Natural Reserve of Ribera Norte, but is common from Buenos Aires to the northern area of Argentina.
