Thanks Neil.. I love the turtles. In the last 12 months I rescued 8 turtles from being run over. One cost me 50 Dollars for Parking on a highway bridge, but she lived!! :)

Hi Christiane! I love seeing these Australian turtle spottings! Thank you so much for sharing. There is an excellent book on the turtles of Australia by John Cann that I hope to get some day, but it is $300 US Dollars. In the mean time, I've asked my friend (not on PN yet) who knows more than I do on worldly turtles for some ID help by emailing him this link. Hopefully he can help out!
