Hummm...now that I look at photos on Google images...I think it must be something different. Yes, edit it asking for ID help.

It is definitely 'attached' in some manner; I could lift the honeysuckle vines to see back side and it remained 'attached'. There were several of these (at least five), none of which I find now. The identification came from another source, and, I'm not certain if it is correct or not; I should probably remove and let others confirm or not.

What do you mean when you say attached...is it making a cocoon?
