Description:

Lucky day time sighting of the small moth which measures approx. 1/2" long . It was resting on Hibiscus leaves.

Habitat:

Tropical humid forest in SW Costa Rica at sea level next to the ocean.

I found one Prochoreutis on moth photographer group that looks similar but far from the same. They are all spotted in North America.

Beautiful. It is a type of metalmark moth, try genus Prochoreutis.
