All-pink head and red eye-ring are diagnostic. In flight they show grey outer tail feathers.

Habitat:

Diverse. Coastal forest

Notes:

Common resident. Alarm call is a "chwaa". A very dove-like "coo-coo, kook-co-co" is typical.
