Description:

Irridescent copper-colored and green thorax. TL 15 mm. 10 mm wide. Black stripes on abdomen. Series pests in USA to more than 200 plants such as rose, cherry, birch and hops to name a few.

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant flowers and weeds.

Notes:

There was a fight between two males over this female and she defecated before mating.

These have to be the most sex crazed creatures on the planet. There seems to be an orgy going on on every rose cluster in my garden not to mention the fruit trees and the grape vines.
