Pharaoh Cuttlefish

Description:

A very nice and friendly couple of cuttlefish. Observed four days in the same area of Nai yang reef, which has been severely damaged by the tsunami 2004 and now slowly recovering.

Although it has its ressemblance to Sepia officinalis, the European one, by geographical location and relative abundance in the Andaman Sea I am more inclined to suggest S. pharaonis. I hope it helps! :-)
