Eretmocera sp.
Gelechioidea; Scythrididae; Eretmocera sp. According to Wikipedia, the common name of moths in the Super Family Gelechioidea is "Curved-horn Moths" and that name comes from the fact that many of these moths have long, curved palps which look like horns. However the Scythrididae (one of the families in the Gelechioidea) do not have the long, curved palps (or, if they do, I cannot see them). So it seems better to call them by the name "Scythridid Moths"
This moth was spotted in our backyard vegetable plot, on Eggplant (Solanum melongena) locally called Talong. Plant identification - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Talong.html...
There is a good description of this kind of moth in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelechioid...... and https://philepidoptera.wixsite.com/moths...
